I had a wonderful stay at a lovely guest house in a peaceful valley close to the charming town of Usk. the room was spacious, beautifully decorated, and had a private shower room. the hosts were fun and very gracious, making me feel welcome. the Welsh breakfast was delicious, with eggs from their own chickens. the guest house also had a comfortable sitting room and a heated swimming pool during the summer months.
It would have been more convenient if there were more eating options nearby, such as restaurants or at least a pub.

Over the Easter weekend, I stayed at a guest house in the Welsh countryside. The room was spacious, clean and well-furnished with a large bathroom. I really appreciated having fresh towels every day and the communal lounge area was a nice touch. The surrounding greenery was lovely for having a quiet walk or reading outside.
The location was quite inconvenient as there were no nearby shops, restaurants or pubs. The lack of public transport made it difficult to explore the area and we had to rely on taxis.

Recently spent Easter weekend at a charming Welsh B&B. the countryside location was perfect for walks and the stunning ancient church nearby was a highlight. the rooms were spacious and comfortable, with lovely fresh towels and an abundance of breakfast options on offer, including homemade jams. the small touches like mints on the pillow and friendly hosts made it feel like a home away from home.
That cash was the only payment method, so a trip to the nearest ATM was necessary. it was a small inconvenience that did not detract from the overall experience.
